CETI participated in a TB awareness rally on eve of World TB day which is organized by Revised National TB Control Program’s officials, District TB Officer, Indore Dr VIjay Chhajlani Members of Vakalpik chikitsa paddhati Vikas sanstha, India, Indian Medical Association, Indore chest society, VHAI, T. B. Relief society DAPCU and others participated in it from MYH to Madhurmilan square at madhur milan square candles were put in memory of died TB patients By Shri Kamal bhai chairman MP minority commission, Dr Dilip Acharya, Civil surgeon Indore, Dr VIjay Chhajlani and others.
CETI has done a pilot survey on Khajrana Indore batween 4th to 20th October, over 5000 population covered with 1002 house holds from Jalla colony and Badla Khajrana indore,

after analysis results are:-
- people are still not serious for their health.
- perhaps stigma on TB is present in society.
- people are uneducated, most of them are alcoholic.
- Khajrana model can be a role model to control TB deaths in society mostly in dense population, it can be a sustainable and replicable plan to make TB free India,
- CETI will follow same plna make 100000 population of 336 colonies of Khajrana, Indore to make TB Free.
Inauguration of Survey work (pilot) over 5000 population under Khajrana TB Free campaign by District TB Officer, Indore, Dr Vijay Chhajlani
After 9 slum visits, referred 36 chest symptomatic patients and found 7 sputum positive patients at Khajrana , Team CETI decided to start survey work at Khajrana to find more and more TB patients and to make Khajrana TB free, Dr. Vijay Chhajlani (DTO Indore) inaugurated the event, it was organised at St Loysis School with the help of Sunni Welfare committee, on this occasion along with CETI team Dr Vijay Chhajlani, RNTCP officials, members of Sunni welfare committee, Media persons, school staff and Students Social work college (surveyors) were presented there,
The survey work is a pilot to find active TB case in the dense community, 1000 house holds & around 5000 population would be covered by this effort, symptomatic TB patients will be referred to M Y Hospital , Sunni welfare committee (SWC) committed to provide food facility to the poor patients.
Khajrana TB Free survey has started after inauguration of District TB Officer Dr Vijay Chhajlani, survey started with the help of School of Social Science under DAVV ‘s Students Anand & Rakesh and Indore School of Social Work’s students Shonko and Vartika at Rajeev Nagar Badla under Khajrana area in Indore MP, they visited 58 homes in first day. In this way they interacted with 357 persons individually. while going house to house visit students met 1 Old TB patients which is cured now and 2 On going TB Patients taking DOTs from nearest government hospitals, the surveyor referred 8 TB suspected Patients to the nearest DMC center.
The students posted TB help line sticker in the alter net home mohalla and provide TB information brochure to the people.
Few days back CETI Coordinator went for a slum visit at Khajrana in Indore. By two visits only, they referred 6 TB suspected patients to the nearest DMC centers, from that slum they found four patients are sputum positive in six of them,The Space Between Us film
Immediately team CETI has decided to cover Khajrana area with all its intervention like awareness & case finding in slum, case finding with the help of non MBBS Doctors, TB Awareness in Schools and Colleges, Awareness by Print Media , TB Exhibition display, Health Awareness camp with the help of NIMA, local doctors and NGOs etc.
To start this campaign CETI Program manager Mrs Sangeeta Pathak met with members of Sunni welfare committee, which is an NGO and working already in Khajrana area for serving food for hunger and for education, they have more than 100 volunteer in the field. they assured us to help in our TB Free Khajrana campaign.
On 15th September CETI team visited along with social work students at khajrana gaon to meet around 160 migrate people at Khjanrana gaon near Ganesh temple who usually sells iron goods from one place to another, team CETI briefed them about sign and symptoms of tuberculosis. while discussing with the people we have known that many people have cough and cold problem. CETI team identified 7 suspected TB patients from there.
Problem faced – primarily people are very familiar while talking with team and after knowing the name of TB they escaped from there, not ready to go for investigation and sputum examination.
Team CETI submitted the name of the patients to the District TB Officer Dr vijay Chhajlani for forcing them for checkup.
A meeting on the topic of ‘How to control TB at Bhopal’ has been done with Lion kamal Bhandari, upcoming Governor Bhopal and Lion Suyash Kulshreshth, Charter President Lions Club Bhopal ‘Sanskar’ at Bhopal on 16th August 16, CETI Program manager Sangeeta Pathak briefed them about activities of CETI and discussed with them how lions club can support RNTCP, the government TB Control program in India with their active participation,
Lion Bhandari appreciated the extensive and remarkable work CETI is doing as a step towards elimination of TB in India and assured to participate in TB control activities at Bhopal.
A TB Training session has been arranged for master of social social work students who are also interns in CETI, Program manager detailed about the TB Control program,RNTCP, CETI & its intervention and also difficulties of Tuberculosis in the community, She also briefed how they have to work in to the field as well as save themselves from TB.Watch Full Movie Online Streaming Online and Download
