Dr. Manoj Jain

Manoj Jain, MD MPH is an infectious disease physician, a writer, and an international leader in healthcare quality improvement.
He received his engineering, doctorate, and public health degree from Boston University. He did his residency, fellow and executive public health training at Boston City Hospital, New England Medical Center, Tufts University and Harvard School of Public Health, respectively. He has served as a consultant to the World Bank on HIV, and to the World Health Organization (WHO) for Tuberculosis. He was part of the 2019 WHO-Government of India Joint Monitoring Mission for tuberculosis. He co-founded CETI, Collaboration for Elimination of Tuberculosis among Indians, delivered numerous talks at NATCON, and published in the Indian Journal of Tuberculosis.
He is also a clinical Associate Professor at University of Tennessee, Memphis and Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta.

He has done his graduation post graduation from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College Indore (MP), 125 year old medical school.
He started his career as district TB officer and later joined as a medical teacher.
He has many international & National publication on his name in various journals, Has done special training in Quality improvement in health care
– Worked as chairman of RNTCP- zonal task force (west zone) of medical Colleges for 3 years.
– Has organised National and state Conferences
– He is co founder of CETI- Collaboration to Eliminate Tuberculosis among Indians For TB free cities in India

Suraj Sait is a business analytics intern at Marstone, Inc., a financial technology company. He graduated high school in 2020, took a gap year, and will be attending the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business in the fall of 2021. He also attended the Jain Center of Greater Boston’s Pathshala, graduating in 2020. As Project Lead of the Worldwide Jain Survey Initiative, he helps coordinate all aspects of the survey, including survey development, marketing, strategy, and analysis. In his free time, Suraj likes to play ultimate frisbee, practice karate, read science fiction and fantasy novels, and watch the New England Patriots.

Passionate, inherently motivated, out of the box thinker with remarkable communication skills, Commodore Raman Arora loves to explore fields away from his comfort zone. Having served as a Director in GoI, he sought voluntary retirement and has demonstrated success in the civil world with 30 years of experience in Leadership, Project Management, Business Strategy, Financial & Operations Management, Corporate Affairs, Team Building, Administrative and HR roles. He continues to manage affairs exactly the way he commanded ships i.e., “Taut”.
He has been widely acknowledged for improving organizational efficiencies by mentoring human resources that include the senior hierarchy of the armed forces/IAS/central service officers at premier institutes of the armed forces performing duties of the Registrar and Research Guide.
At the national level he has demonstrated success in Conflict Resolution and Stakeholders Management fostering coordination between multiple top level stakeholders representing militaries, bureaucracy, ministries and corporate. He has officially represented the GoI across 15+ countries including the United Nations. He facilitated donation of 100 ventilators to the Indian Army during COVID-19 pandemic.

Ms. Erika Willacy

Erika Willacy is the Lead for Policy, Innovation and Communications within the Workforce and Institute Development Branch, Division of Global Health Protection, at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In this role, she oversees communication, curriculum development, and policy endeavors around workforce and institute development in global settings. In addition, she is responsible for exploring the use of new, innovative approaches to building public health institutional and workforce capacity through a more holistic, targeted approach to build range and enable systemic change to reinvigorate public health systems and improve health outcomes in low to middle income countries.
Ms. Willacy also serves as the Program Lead for CDC’s Improving Public Health Management for Action (IMPACT) training program, a sister program to FETP, designed to build management and leadership capacity. In her position, Ms. Willacy provides oversight and direction for the development, implementation, and evaluation of this applied public health management training program targeted at improving the health workforce in low to middle income countries.
Ms. Willacy is a behavioral scientist by training with education and experience rooted in health education, program development and implementation, health communications, health management leadership development, and intrapreneurship. Prior to her leadership of the IMPACT program, Ms. Willacy served as a consultant for Abt Associates and RTI International, a professor at North Carolina Central University, and as the Lead Health Education Specialist in the Immigrant, Refugee, and Migrant Health Branch at the CDC. In the latter role, she had a strong emphasis on improving tuberculosis outcomes by improving strategy and processes for tuberculosis prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for an international network of physicians who screen immigrants and refugee populations.
During her time at CDC, Ms. Willacy has also supported numerous emergency response efforts; much of her work in this area targeted immigrant and refugee communities. Included in her emergency response activities during the 2014 Ebola crisis was her invention and leadership in the production of the Check and Report Ebola (CARE) Kit. The kit was designed to educate and ease the concerns of individuals returning from countries affected by the 2014 Ebola outbreak while ensuring they were properly tracked by health systems. The CARE Kit was profiled in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and several other notable publications. Ms. Willacy was also the recipient of a ClearMark Award of Distinction for this effort.
Ms. Willacy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychobiology from Wellesley College and a Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan.

Ms. Alison Yoos

Alison Yoos, MPH, is the Resident Adviser for the Improving Public Health Management for Action (IMPACT) Program in Kenya. IMPACT is a collaboration between the Kenya Ministry of Health (MOH), Kenyatta University, TEPHINET, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Alison trains and mentors MOH IMPACT fellows in community engagement, evaluation, project management, and emergency response. In 2011, Alison obtained her MPH with a concentration in Urban Health from Northeastern University. During this time, she began working at a small non-profit (or NGO) in Boston focused on conservation, public health and social justice, where her passion for community engagement, program start-up, and evaluation developed. In 2015, she joined IMPACT, CDC-Atlanta, to launch the program in Kenya and Bangladesh before moving to her current position in 2018. She loves to listen to podcasts, and her favorite snack is popcorn.

Dr Ankita Mokashi did her initial education at Mumbai. She completed her BDS from Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences, Belgaum, Karnataka. Post a few stints at private dental clinics at Mumbai, Dr Ankita got inclined to pursue Hospital Administration.
After completing her MBA (Hospital Administration), Dr Ankita has been associated with Nanavati Superspeciality Hospital as a Medical Administrator and with Baymax Healthcare as an Assistant Manager.
Dr Ankita is currently associated with CETI as a Quality Improvement Counselor and is contributing work towards TB elimination under iDEFEAT TB Project being supported by USAID, and The Union.

Ms. Akshita Kukreja

Akshita is an enthusiastic health care professional, perpetually aiming to solve problems and revolutionize the healthcare space. She is a B. Pharm graduate from Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan, where she got her exposure to the social sector while working in the National Service Scheme. This piqued her interest in public health and nipping the problems at the bud, and hence, during her MBA from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, she majored in public health. Her peers and professors have often deemed her as an excellent communicator, who looks at challenges as fuel to keep her going, and someone always willing to go the extra mile.
With her current association with Team CETI, she aims to learn, unlearn, grow and contribute to the Indian healthcare space.

Dr Ekta did her initial education at Rudrapur Uttrakhand and completed her BHMS (Bachelors in Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) from Chandola Homoeopathic College and Hospital Rudrapur. She has worked as an RMO and Lady Medical Officer in Sanjeevani Hospital Haldwani Uttarakhand and Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram under National Health Mission respectively.
Dr Ekta pursued an MBA in Health Care Management to broaden her career choice. During her post graduation she was associated with projects under NGOs and Social Workers.
Dr Ekta is currently working with CETI as Quality Improvement Counsellor and contributing towards TB elimination under iDEFEAT TB Project being supported by USAID and The Union.

A Physiotherapy Graduate from Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy, Delhi University. Sadaf is an MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management from Jamia Hamdard and has been associated with Sir Gangaram Hospital and BL Kapur Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi in Operations and Quality Management.
Currently, Sadaf is involved with CETI as a Quality Improvement Counselor. She aspires to discover newer challenges and areas where quality can be applied in Healthcare and evolve along with iDEFEAT TB Project being supported by USAID, and The Union.

Dr. Shubhangi Khare is an enthusiastic Healthcare Management professional with more than three years of work experience in Hospital Medical Services. She has worked for Terna Speciality Hospital & Research Centre, Navi Mumbai.
Dr. Shubhangi did her initial education at Jamshedpur. She completed her BPTh. from Career College of Physiotherapy, Bhopal. She has done her MBA in Health & Hospital Management from D.Y.Patil University School of Business Management, Navi Mumbai.
Dr. Shubhangi is currently associated with CETI as Quality Improvement Counsellor. Team CETI has taken a step forward to eliminate TB by introducing the concept of Quality & Leadership in the public health sector and training the DTOs under the iDefeat TB Project supported by The Union & the USAID.
As QIC, she is inspired to contribute towards the great objective of “TB free India” with CETI.

Mr. Adnan Ali

Adnan Ali is an ambitious healthcare professional, currently he is working as a Quality Improvement Counselor with CETI and also associated with Quality Council of India as a management trainee. He graduated from Jamia Millia Islamia in 2016 and is pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration (Health & Hospital management) from Jamia Hamdard. He has been associated with Khadamat Integrated Solution and Apollo Specialty Hospital. He is an experienced Operations Executive with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital industry. Skilled in Front Office Management, Microsoft Excel, Customer Service, and Back Office Operations. He believes that in the healthcare field, education never really ends.

Dr Shantanu Bhargava did his initial education at Indore. He completed his MBBS from Shri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Science,Indore(SAIMS). Having had a stint as a resident Doctor at Private Hospital in Indore and having accumulated a few years of clinical experience Dr Shantanu got inclined to pursue Hospital Administration.
Dr Shantanu is associated with Bombay Hospital, Indore as a Medical Administrator.
