Closing Ceremony :

CETI conducted the Closing ceremony after successfully completing the Program Managers Executive Course for Batch 7. The session was graced by Dr. Bhavin Vadera, Project Management Specialist, USAID, Dr. Rebecca Martin, Director Emory Global Health Institute, Dr. Jyoti Jaju, Director iDEFEAT TB Project, The Union & Amit Chakrabarty, AAPI -Vice President, Chairman CEO at Poplar Bluff Urology

The ceremony was co-led by NTI & CETI faculty. Dr. Uma Shankar, Head of Epidemiology and Research participated. Over 90 participants attended the program including 51 from Batch 7 from Bihar, Orissa & Jharkhand, and Maharashtra. The total PDSA certificates issued to Batch 7 were 57 for DTOs under the Course (Including 2 STDC members who participated in Batch 7 from the State of Jharkhand. DTO Kishanganj got transferred, and DPC continued the course & was provided a certificate as DTO).

The ceremony was led by Dr. Manoj Jain, Dr. Salil Bhargava (Co-chair CETI), and Commodore Raman Arora (Course Director, Program Manager Executive Course CETI.
Dr. Manoj Jain initiated the session, welcomed the guests, and presented the progress and success of the program along with attendance, feedback, and PDSA completion which was later followed by an address from guests.

Dr. Jyoti Jaju addressed the gathering & congratulated the B7 DTOs for their phenomenal performance. Dr. Bhavin Vadera shared his encouraging feedback on the collective planning, learning, and impact of the course with CETI, and the overwhelming impact especially when the PDSAs are being presented. This is fantastic results.

Dr. Amit Chakrabarty, Vice President, AAPI as a partner extended his supporting vision for the work done by Dr. Manoj and the team. Data for decision-making and PDSA has been one of the most remarkable learnings. Community engagement, the multi-disciplinary ambitious goal which CETI has embarked on, was gratefully acknowledged by Dr. Rebecca Martin, Director of Emory Global Health Institute. Priceless blessings to all DTOs! and the teams that have partnered together.

One by one DTO’s from Batch 7 were awarded their respective Course completion e-certificates on successful completion of their 6 monthly training program by the CETI Faculty Dr. Pratibha Kohli, Dr. PA Mahesh & Co-Faculty Dr. Uma Shankar from NTI.

The ceremony concluded with thanking remarks and a TB elimination pledge by Sharvari Ubale, Project lead, CETI for everyone, with loads of applause. The ceremony was very overwhelming & emotional both for CETI and DTO’s.
