A TB Mukt Panchayat event was successfully conducted at Badgonda Panchayat under the CAP-TB project, led by CETI in collaboration with the NTEP and Block Health Team. The session began with Mr. Raman Arora addressing Panchayat officials and health staff, highlighting the goals and approach of the CAP-TB initiative. BMO Dr. Tiwari and Janpratinidhi Adhyaksh Shri Malviya Ji encouraged the TB Mukt Panchayat team and emphasized the importance of community involvement in eliminating TB. As part of patient support activities, a TB-positive patient was provided a food basket by CETI, handed over by the Gram Sarpanch, NTEP staff, Block Health Team, and Raman Sir. Raman Sir also personally counseled the patient, stressing the importance of treatment adherence and available government benefits. The event included an interaction with the field team, recognizing their work and aligning future strategies. A working committee for TB Mukt Panchayat was formally constituted, bringing together Panchayat representatives, ASHAs, and health officials to drive the campaign forward. To increase awareness, IEC materials were displayed at the Panchayat Bhavan, ensuring key messages about TB reach the wider community.
