Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College (MGM Medical College), Indore, CETI (Collaboration to Eliminate Tuberculosis Among Indians), Indore, and Emory Global Health Institute, Atlanta, USA, signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 17th May 2024. This strategic partnership aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and global cross-learning among faculty and students of the participating institutions. Dr. Sanjay Dixit, Professor and Dean of MGM Medical College, Dr. Rahul Rokde , Professor Community medicine, along with Raman Arora, (Advisor), and Sharvari Ubale, Project Lead, from CETI were present during the signing ceremony. This MoU is designed to leverage the combined strengths and resources of the institutions to address critical healthcare challenges, enhance academic excellence, and make a positive impact on communities. The collaboration is expected to bring innovative solutions and foster a culture of knowledge exchange, benefiting both the Indian and global healthcare landscapes. Previously, a similar MoU was signed with Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on November 21, 2022 in presence and guidance of Former Honourable Minister of Medical Education, Mr. Vishwas Sarang, under the Knowledge Sharing Mission Madhya Pradesh.
