A collaborative research study on TB Screening amongst pregnant women is being participated by EGHI scholars and GMC residents under the EGHI- Field Scholar Award for the year 2023. Initiation of the meeting was done on 17th June 2023( Saturday) under the chairmanship of Dr. Arvind Rai, Dean GMC Bhopal, Dr. Gohiya, Medical Superintendent, GMC Bhopal & State Nodal officer, Medical Knowledge Sharing Mission, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Devendra Gore, Prof. & Head Community Medicine, GMC Bhopal, Dr. Aruna Kumar, Prof & Head Obgy GMC Bhopal, Dr. Mohan Kohli, Consultant CETI, Mrs. Sharvari Ubale, Project Lead CETI. The team would be studying the barriers and challenges faced regarding screening of TB during ANC. The students will work towards the development of a Quality improvement initiative to overcome the barriers. The Field Scholar award would provide a great platform for increasing knowledge exchange amongst students of India and Emory.
