CETI participated in a program that was organized in joint collaboration with the Indian Medical Association and MGM Medical College and NTEP on 9th July 2022, on the topic of “Let’s talk about TB”.
The program was presided over by Dr. Rajendra P Joshi (Deputy Director Governor General Tuberculosis, Central TB Division Indore) Dr. Sanjay Dixit – Dean, MGM Medical College was present as the Chief Guest, The program started with the welcome address of the President Dr. Sumit Shukla, after which Dr. Sanjay Dixit – Dean urged the doctors of Indian Medical Association, National Integrated Medical Association, and General Practitioners Association, who attended the program, how to promote notification and other activities.
Dr. Rajendra Joshi made everyone aware of the target to make India TB free in the year 2025 and requested all the doctors, grassroots workers, NGOs, and everyone present that the government alone cannot make India TB free, as well as made everyone aware of the schemes run by the National TB Elimination Program and requested all the doctors to visit the NIKSHA portal of the National TB Elimination Program. During this program, the oath was also administered to the dignitaries present for TB-free Indore and India.
Dr. K. B. Saitya Chief Medical Officer expressed gratitude to the guests present. The program was conducted by Dr. Salil Bhargava Professor and Head TB and Tuberculosis Department. The city of this program has many well-known doctors Dr. Upendra Soni, Dr. Praveen Dani, Dr. Vijay Chhajlani, Dr. Arvind Jain, Dr. Vijay Chhajlani, Dr. Rupesh Modi as well as doctors of Indian Medical Association, General Practitioners Association, NGOs working in TB. Many dignitaries from CETI, Operation Asha, Adarsh Jan Seva Sansthan, and GLRA India were present.
