Mousumi Chakraborty, Director Finance, The Union was invited as guest speaker for the session on conflict management.
The discussion centered around the causes of conflict, various approaches to resolve it and its types including the intra and inter personal and organisational conflicts.
The session showed an active involvement of DTOs of various districts, they shared instances of circumstances wherein they addressed the contention among Public and Private Practitioners, conflict due to lack of resources and due to hierarchical level and experiences.
The discussion highlighted that conflicts are natural to exist and are good, as by doing its root cause analysis can prompt achievement, development and improvement.
