A significant event on the TB Mukt Gram Panchayat initiative was convened at Sagare PHC, bringing together key stakeholders dedicated to tuberculosis elimination. Mr. Lokesh, the PDO of Sagare Panchayat, graced the occasion alongside other Panchayat officials, reaffirming local governance’s commitment to the cause.
The event was conducted by Assistant Consultant Dr. Ankita Mokashi in collaboration with CHO Bindu, ensuring seamless coordination and engagement. Dr. Kiran Kumar, Medical Officer of Sagare PHC, played an integral role in the discussions, while STS Umesh provided a comprehensive overview of CETI’s interventions in Kotthegala, Sagare, and Hegganuru Gram Panchayats under the TB Mukt Gram Panchayat initiative.
Adding a frontline perspective, CHO Neelarani shared valuable insights drawn from her collaboration with CETI, while CHO Manu and CHO Pruthvin contributed to the discussions. The event witnessed the active engagement of Assistant Consultants Dr. Ekta Negi and Shameela Tabassum, alongside QIC Anupama, who not only participated in the proceedings but also fostered meaningful interactions with ASHAs and villagers, enhancing community awareness and involvement in TB elimination efforts.
