A significant awareness session was conducted at the Poonadahalli Gram Panchayat office as part of CETI’s CAP-TB Project and the TB Mukt Gram Panchayat initiative. The session aimed to educate the community about tuberculosis (TB) and ongoing efforts for its elimination.
Key speakers at the event included STS Jagdessha, STLS Ashok, and CHO Navita, who briefed the Gram Panchayat members and villagers on TB awareness activities, IEC material distribution, and the importance of door-to-door surveys in identifying TB cases. Assistant Consultants Dr. Ekta Negi and Dr. Ankita Mokashi, along with QIC Anupama, actively participated, emphasizing CETI’s systematic approach to TB elimination.
A highlight of the event was the recording of TB Champion videos, featuring inspiring stories from individuals championing the fight against TB. These videos will serve as powerful tools to spread awareness and encourage early diagnosis and treatment.
