CETI’s CAP TB team visited Panchvally Panchayat in Piriyapatna Taluk of Mysuru. CAP TB Project Director addressed the gathering. THO Dr. Sriniwas, PDO Mr. Veerabhadra Shetty, Medical Officer, PHCOs, CHOs, ASHAs, and HIOs attended the meeting. Discussion on creating awareness in the community about TB, recordings of TB Champion videos, Videos of cured patients from Tibetan communities, and spreading awareness through WhatsApp group was done. The CETI team also collected data about demographics and schools in the panchayat. Discussion about presumptive and notified cases in the panchayat was done.
