CETI’s CAP TB team met Taluk Health Officer Dr. Shriniwas, Panchayat Development Officer Mr. Paramesh, and the team. Discussion about the demographics of the village, schools, colleges, and professions of villagers took place. Current activities in the Panchayat to spread awareness of TB and the list of TB champions were reviewed. Medical facilities in the Panchayat, facilities for transportation of sputum samples to the testing sites, and VHND meeting days were informed by the team. Discussion on NGOs and Self Help Groups in Poonadahally Panchayat was done.
