The closing session of the Adaptive Leadership Series was conducted on 17 Jul 21. The session covered the aspects of adaptivity and significance of effective communication within and outside the team. It was highlighted that effective communication with the team and patients was the most important virtue of NTEP. Verbal and non verbal communication were discussed. Instances were shared about how a patient could be made to feel welcomed to t,he TB facility, despite the age of the building it was the hygiene standards of the infrastructure that communicates with the patient. Use of posters, audios, videos were discussed to spread awareness about the TB Program and the direct benefits that were being provisioned by the government to the patients. Five simple rules to adapt for effective communication were shared. The session generated intense debate and lots of feedback and suggestions were shared by the DTOs.
