Infosys Co-Founder Mr. K. Dinesh was invited to the session on October 22, 2021. The objective of the session was to facilitate DTOs appreciate the concept of authenticity and how values can guide the mission and vision of a team and authenticity being an all-encompassing leadership quality.
The meeting took place virtually on zoom, during which one-on-one discussion with Mr. K. Dinesh was done. The DTOs displayed active engagement by sharing their concerns authentically. DTO Sirsa, Dr. Rohtas Kumar highlighted the language barrier as the issue that led to the discussion about being authentic and accepting our own difficulties can help us find ways to succeed.
The problems, challenges and success achieved by Mr. K. Dinesh were deftly related to the TB world and how PDSA performed by him helped him achieve solutions were discussed.
Overall, it was a great learning experience for all participants. The session was motivating not only for the tuberculosis elimination program, but also for people’s lives. Hugely positive feedback were shared by the DTOs during and after the session.
